Немного о себе: работаю программистом, в настоящее время пишу на Python (Django), на который перешел с PHP (ZF, Cake, …), о чем абсолютно не жалею. Интересуюсь всем, что связано с опенсорсом. Если у Вас есть какие-то вопросы или предложения, можете смело оставлять их здесь и я постараюсь ответить при первой же возможности.

    Hello Alexey,

    First : Thanks for your work on vkontakte plugin.

    Why do I come to you : I recently updated rhytmbox to 0.13.3. I can’t find any issue on a general bug internet sites (neither bugzilla nor your website) concerning plugins fail to load.

    Do you know any website that can help me to use again your GORGEOUS plugin.

    Hello!

    I’m aware of this problem (due to rhythmbox’s API changes). I’m going to fix it as soon as I have enough spare time for that. The best place for such questions is a guthub’s issue tracker: https://github.com/grunichev/rhythmbox-vkontakte/issues though.

    Hi,

    I have no idea why ubuntu team included 2.90 version of rhythmbox, official stable version is 0.13.3.
    There is a major api break up again (http://mail.gnome.org/archives/rhythmbox-devel/2011-October/msg00026.html) and, even worse, there is no docs and even official plugins crashes sometimes. I’ll try to do my best, but can’t give any estimates etc.

    Hi,
    the plugins doesn’t work on ubuntu 10.04 and ubuntu 11.04
    on differents computers since today. I am the only one ?
    there was not update today, does the probleme come from Vontackt ?

    Hi,
    Technically, it doesn’t depend on ubuntu version, but rather on rhythmbox version.
    Ubuntu 10.04 is shipped with Rhythmbox 0.12.8 by default, 11.04 with something like 0.12.X or 0.13.X – both are suppoted. The only upsupported version yet is 2.90.
    So, please. check rhythmbox version (Help > About) and if it’s ok, then close and execute rhythmbox from command line: rhythmbox -D Vkontakte and provide and output with errors.

    Sorry, just realized now that vkontakte returns invalid XML with empty first line now.
    I’ve added a workaround in plugin for this case, please, update plugin source and try again.
